Do I need to buy a ticket for parking and the festivities?

No. Admission to the Central PA 4th Fest festivities at Medlar Field is free and does not require a ticket. However, if you would like to reserve a seat inside Medlar Field, a ticket purchase is required. Parking passes may be purchased separately if you wish to reserve parking in advance.

Can I tailgate in the parking lots?

You sure can! Parking ticket purchases benefit and support local organizations that assist in parking cars as well as continues our firework show for the community. Lots open at 9AM the day of the event.

Do I need to pre-order instead of paying when I Arrive?

No. We offer either choice. We want to try to make it as easy as possible based on your preferences.

Where is the best viewing option?

This depends on your preferences. For a unique viewing experience with access to the ground firework show, we suggest you purchase tickets for inside of Medlar Field. However, the show is just as good and visible (minus the ground fireworks) from the parking lots, where you can enjoy the show with your friends and family while tailgating.

Should I bring a chair inside of medlar field to sit?

No. Medlar Field does not permit you to bring in your own chair. The baseball stadium has permanent seats that you can choose to sit in for the show by purchasing a ticket.

Is it one ticket per person or one ticket per vehicle?

If you are parking, tickets are by vehicle only and not the number of people inside the vehicle.

To be a part of the festivities inside of Medlar Field, it is free.

To reserve a seat inside of Medlar Field, tickets range from $7.76-$17.76 per person. Please note that there is a $2.00 online purchasing fee.

What time do the festivities start?

4th Fest kicks off with our annual Firecracker 4K at 9AM. If you are participating in the 4k, come cheer on your fellow community members during the 22nd Firecracker 4K Anniversary.

What time does Medlar Field Open?

Medlar Field will be opening at 4PM on the day of the festivities.
