As we step into an exciting new chapter for Central PA 4th Fest, we want to express our sincere gratitude for your loyal support over the years. Community members like you make it possible to keep this cherished tradition alive for families across our region.
Happy Valley has a rich history of Independence Day celebrations. As we approach 2027, we prepare to honor 100 years of community-organized fireworks and festivities in Happy Valley—a tradition carried forward since 1927 by civic groups like the Alpha Fire Company and Sunrise Kiwanis Club, followed by The Great American 4th of July, and today, Central PA 4th Fest. Our top priority is building on this incredible foundation to ensure 4th Fest remains a vibrant, community-centered celebration grounded in local collaboration, civic pride, and strong regional partnerships.
Firecracker 4k
Our annual Firecracker 4K run/walk kicks off the Central PA 4th Fest's day long celebration of our nation's birthday. The race is ran on the beautiful Penn State main campus starting near the Bryce Jordan Center located on the east side of campus.
We are proud to offer a great collaboration with Freedom Rising USA for the parade.
