4th Fest is organized by 600+ volunteers working year-round. Each year, these volunteers—your friends, colleagues, and neighbors—spend approximately 13,000 man-hours planning, developing, and executing to make 4thFest possible. If you’re interested in joining this dynamic team, we would love to find you a position that utilizes your talents and interests. Whether you can offer 5 hours or 50, we would love to have you on the 4th Fest team!

Available Volunteer opportunites
PYRO
These folks will assist Starfire, Inc. in managing the set-up and tear-down of fireworks. This work occurs a few days before the event and requires training and a few other must-dos. Please let us know a bit about your experience below. We are also looking for someone with a yearlong commitment to assist.

OPS folks keep us in line. They assist with getting items around the area: signage/parking needs. They also assist us in coordinating with outside vendors and donors for items we need (barricades, generators, vehicles
COMMUNITY RELATIONS
Do you like to talk? We have a job for you! During the 4th on the square we would love to have you help people get where they need to go. you will also sell some merchandise and be able to help people find their way through the crowd.
