Proud American Fund

Inspired by the patriotism of the country responding to the events of 9/11, Paul H. Silvis, founder of Restek Corp., created this fund to endow patriotic observances, so we never forget to say, "I am proud to be an American." Silvis has been a strong supporter of the Centre County community, both monetarily, and by serving in positions such as president of Central PA 4th Fest and chairman of the Chamber of Business & Industry of Centre County (CBICC). This fund supports nonprofits that display, encourage, or promote patriotic observances, especially on the 4th of July.
